Steamborne:
I worked within a team of five members to develop a city building game suitable for mobile devices. For this project I undertook the roles of Lead Programmer and UI Designer, and furthermore I challenged myself by undertaking the role of Narrative Designer for this project. My C# skills improved vastly during the project as I faced challenging new problems throughout the development process. I became a more capable UI designer after the challenges encountered in creating the UI elements for a mobile game
Team and Project Duties:
Implementing particle effects and animations.
Writing all of the necessary scripts for the game.
Designing the UI and Menu systems using the Canvas tool in Unity.
Further refining the UI to scale correctly to any sized screen.
Creating a working tutorial system for the game to help new players.
Designing the narrative and helping to craft the overall theme of the game itself.
Performing QA on a regular basis to ensure every aspect of the game worked as intended.
