Radical Racers:

This multiplayer racing game was the final project I worked on in Pulse College, in which I undertook the roles of lead designer, producer, level designer and user interface designer. In fulfilling these roles I learned to fully utilize an iterative process for the level designs and refined my ability to create working UI’s. I also greatly enhanced my team management and communication skills.

Team and Project Duties:

  • Implementing particle effects and animations.

  • Performing rigorous balance testing and design on every vehicle.

  • Creating weekly sprint goals and deadlines for each team member.

  • Designing the UI and Menu systems using the Canvas tool in Unity.

  • Engaging in agile workflow methods and iterative design principles.

  • Managing a small studio and navigating strict deadlines using agile workflows.

  • Delegating responsibilities and coordinating with the lead artist throughout the project.
